Aladdin

The John Storer House Drama Group performed their production of Aladdin on 24th January. Yet again, the cast did a great job of acting out their show with real professionalism and obvious enjoyment!

We had a bumper audience this year, who enjoyed Miles Middleton in the role of Aladdin, Terry Hull as Princess Jasmine and Karen Jones as the Genie. Adam Berry, with his first big part in one of our shows, played a very menacing Jafar (the baddie) with the best evil laugh you’ve ever heard!

We welcomed the lovely Samantha to the group and she found her feet well as a market trader and dancer. Every member of the group concentrated hard, tried their best and obviously had a great time, well done everyone!

Thanks as always go to Nancy Taylor and Margaret Beaken for their continued help with the group on a weekly basis, Phil Beaken for helping with set building and on the day with the show. We also had help from Sonya and Dave Medlock with teas, Alison Kelb with costumes and the lovely Dave Concannon who organised the sound for us.

Thank you to those who managed to make it to support the group, it’s lovely to have an audience to perform to. See you in the summer for our next show, still to be announced.
