In order to free up Store 3 as our new “Changing Places” space, staff have volunteered some of the Christmas break to clearing and sorting the store and other storage areas around the building.
The new Changing Places space will be Phase 1 of our toilet refurbishment plan throughout the building.
The loss of Store 3 as a storage area means that in future we will have reduced space to store donated books and bric-a-brac. We have started a system of rotating the books and bric-a-brac in the Welcome area and on both Café bookcases monthly, to keep the selection changing and will sell surplus books and bric-a-brac at our bi-monthly Saturday morning sales.
Our next Book and Bric-A-Brac sale will be on Saturday 7th March 2020.
