🌿 Exciting news! Our beloved John Storer House is getting a green makeover – and it won’t cost us a penny!
Thanks to an amazing grant, we’re installing:
✅ Solar panels with battery storage
✅ Energy-efficient LED lighting
✅ Air source heat pumps for year-round comfort
What this means for you:
✨ Cool, comfortable upstairs rooms in summer
♻️ A greener, more sustainable building
💰 £22,000 yearly savings to support our community work
The work will be finished by the end of January – even in winter we’ll be reducing our use of gas and electricity – saving money (and the planet)!
Thanks to government funding of £101,708 through the VCSE Energy Efficiency Scheme, we’re making John Storer House greener and more cost-effective. We’re proud to be among many community organizations across England receiving support to tackle rising energy costs.
The scheme, managed by the community charity Groundwork, is part of a £100 million government initiative helping frontline organizations like ours serve our community better while reducing costs.
