We have been made aware of various grants now open for applications. Two come through Charnwood Borough Council and one through Severn Trent Water. See below for details:
- Loughborough Community Grants
Up to £2,000 for activities with community benefits in Loughborough.
Loughborough is defined as within the following Council wards:
- Loughborough Ashby
- Loughborough Garendon
- Loughborough Hastings
- Loughborough Lemyngton
- Loughborough Nanpantan
- Loughborough Outwoods
- Loughborough Shelthorpe
- Loughborough Southfields
- Loughborough Storer
- The part of Loughborough Dishley and Hathern ward that is not part of Hathern parish.
Grants can cover running costs for up to one year or one-off equipment costs. Please note the next deadline is midnight on Tuesday 14 January 2020.

- NOW OPEN R4 Community Development and Engagement Grants
An additional round of our Community Development and Engagement Grants is now open for applications.
- Application submission deadline is midnight on Wednesday 24 January 2020
- Grants Panel is Tuesday 11 February 2020
- Cabinet decisions on 12 March 2020

- Severn Trent Community Fund is now open for applications
“As a reminder, we’ve pledged to give more than £10 million over the next five years to fund worthy community projects across the Severn Trent region. The purpose of the Fund is to help projects that improve wellbeing in the communities we serve, through at least one of our key elements – People, Place and Environment.
