Our regular Counter volunteer, Janet Hines, kindly made and donated yet another beautiful Christmas cake for us to raffle.
Once again the tickets came out for people to guess the weight of the cake.
The cake weighed 71b 14oz and Marion Smith made the nearest guess. The results were drawn by Joan Cheetham and witnessed by Jo Dilley.
A very big thank–you to Janet for all the time she put into making the cake and to all those who supported us by joining in the raffle. The amount raised will be issued in our next edition of the Newsletter.
