A team of volunteers from Marks & Spencer in the Rushes in Loughborough joined us at the John Storer Charnwood therapeutic allotments.
They worked hard all day to transform two old and uninspiring sheds into a vibrant row of beach huts. The colours they chose will offer a stimulating backdrop to our new beach garden. Work is ongoing to create a storage area behind the beach hut facades and we are hoping to place a planted boat and use recycled rubber crumb to create a beach and sea scene.
The planting will be coastal-themed and will offer our gardeners a new therapeutic experience.
