This year, Loughborough’s annual pleasure fair will officially open on Wednesday, 13th November and will close on Saturday, 16th November 2018.
For the period of the fair and commencing at 4.00am on Wednesday, 13th November, a number of roads around and including Loughborough Town Centre will be officially closed. A map will be displayed at John Storer House which provides details of the road closures and the diversions that will be put in place to assist the movement of traffic.
Prior to the road closures at Browns Lane/Forest Road, Swan Street/Derby Square & High Street/Baxter Gate, prohibition of parking orders will become operative at 5.00pm on Tuesday, 12th November to prevent unauthorised parking which could adversely affect the Fair vehicles entering the Town Centre. Please be aware that our car park at JSH will not be available to use from 5.00pm on Tuesday, 12th November, for the duration of the fair. Temporary bus stops will be in place, and public transport will still be available.
