Seagrave Wolds Challenge Saturday 11th November 10.30am-4pm

Do you live near Seagrave? Can you spare a couple of hours on Saturday 11th November to help with the Seagrave Wolds Challenge?

Chris Thompson is the son of Mary Thompson, who attended the Well-Being groups in the Fielding Room and Allotments for some years.  Chris was so impressed by the way staff and volunteers cared for his mother, that as a thank you the Seagrave Wolds Challenge will be raising funds for John Storer Charnwood this year.

The Challenge is a 16-mile run or walk from Seagrave around the neighbouring villages. The participants start at 9am from Seagrave Village Hall.

Between at 10.30am and 1.30pm – soup, cobs and crumble will be handed out to participants and tables cleared.  They need 3 volunteers to help with this.

In Shoby and Thrussington Village Hall there will be two refreshment areas. They need 2 volunteers to help with this.

Between 9am and 4pm they need marshals to volunteer in twos for two-hour stints.

If you are free and would like to help with this fundraiser, please email harry@jscharnwood.org.uk
