Are You a Kindness Hero?

John Storer Charnwood has been bringing people together and supporting communities across Charnwood for 60 years. To mark our 60th anniversary in 2026, we’re inviting families and individuals across the borough to take on our 60 Acts of Kindness Challenge — and earn their very own JSC Kindness Hero certificate.

What is the 60 Acts of Kindness Challenge?

The challenge is a bingo-style activity pack containing 60 ideas for spreading kindness in your community — from helping a neighbour or writing a kind note, to visiting John Storer House for a cup of tea and cake in our café, volunteering locally, or donating to a good cause. Big or small, every single act counts. It’s completely free, open to all ages and abilities, and you can do it entirely in your own time, at your own pace.

How It Works

  • Download or pick up your free challenge pack from John Storer House reception
  • Complete acts of kindness from across the three categories in your pack
  • Record each one on your Acts of Kindness Tracker as you go
  • Once your tracker is complete, bring it in to reception at John Storer House, Loughborough
  • Collect your official JSC Kindness Hero certificate — you’ve earned it!
