The Peter le Marchant Trust has been operating in the Loughborough area for nearly 40 years providing canal boat trips to people living with disabilities, the seriously ill and their carers as well as other marginalised communities.
Our season runs April to October and each year we see nearly 4,000 passengers use our canal boats enjoying a tranquil day on our local waters. We have a team of nearly 100 dedicated volunteers who skipper & crew our boats ensuring the safety of our passengers.
2018 is going to be a busy and an exciting year for the Trust; we already have over 100 bookings on our boats, we are planning a number of events over the year including the exciting news we have been chosen as the local charity being supported by the High Sheriff’s Office of Leicestershire.
